The Book of Boba Fett revisits the town formally known as Mos Pelgo from The Mandalorian season. Instead of rebuilding an entire western-town backlot set complete with  Int./Ext. Saloon, we found efficiencies in fabrication costs and backlot time by building a partial interior in the volume with a partial exterior set on the backlot. Lidar scans from the original build served ILM's VAD and VFX teams for content creation for the volume and set extension on the backlot.
